Susan Dawson

Director of Marketing

After spending much of my career in the non-profit and the banking industry, I joined the financial planning world and RFG Wealth in 2013. I’m an incurable hospitality geek, and love using those talents with my family, friends and clients.

Being a wife, mom and grandmother are some of the things I treasure most in life. My hubs Mike, and I have been together more than 40 years, and the life we enjoy in Flower Mound is filled with blessings and love. Love for our family and for others.

We are activily involved with our church family too, carrying hope to the north Texas region. You may find us doing Bible studies, having dinner or just hanging out with our family and friends.

Applying my talents in hospitality and passion for everything marketing makes working with our region-based business is a perfect fit for this Texas girl.

Since I joined RFG Wealth, it’s been a pleasure to help design our client connected, independent Registered Investment Advisory firm. I’ve had input in shaping how our firm impacts our clients and community.

When I’m not pouring over spreadsheets and coordinating our team, you’ll find me traveling with my husband Mike, mostly on cruise ships or driving to the Texas wine country. We also enjoy teaching other couples how to enhance their marriage with our blog and courses at MikeandSusanDawson.com.

Favorite Vacation

Favorite vacation is anywhere on a cruise with hubby, Mike. Whether the seas are high or low, we’re packed and ready to sail.

Favorite Pet

Black Lab: Our faithful, balanced, four-legged family member is always a black lab. Rigby is our current furry resident who loves, walks, chasing balls and any Amazon delivery.

Family

God has blessed us with our daughter Lauren, son-in-love John, and grandson Jack. You can find us hanging with them on the weekends, swimming, or playing flag football.

Libations

I love a great bottle of red zinfandel plus someone to share it with. We travel several times a year to the Texas Hill Country, and California to explore new vineyards and try new wines.

Date Night

Mike and I believe that we must be intentional about staying connected in our marriage. Best date night, dinner at Gabriellas and Sophias then to an outdoor concert.
